The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of technological design based on the principles of eco-efficiency of settlement processes and sustainable management of the built environment.
The complex relationship between nature and artifice, new methods of environmental balance are established between anthropic transformations and ecosystems, identifying and defining the methods and tools for the direction and control in the design of settlement processes and for the definition and conformation of the landscape. New articulations of the project are identified, functional to the construction of eco-efficient physical-spatial configurations and configurations, congruent with the realization of general objectives of sustainability of the built environment. In this perspective, "technological innovation" and "environmental quality" constitute the binomial on which to base the process of evolution and transformation of the built environment, both in the new building project and in the recovery and redevelopment of the existing building heritage. The exam will focus on a test that allows to evaluate the knowledge of the theoretical aspects and the discussion of the graphic works of the design exercise of the year theme. A specific list of the required documents will be provided.
The lessons will be held in the first semester during the hours that will be established by the Degree Course Council.
