This class contributes to the general objectives of the degree course in Philology, Linguistics and Literary Tradition, with the specific aim of improving the knowledge and use of methodology acquired during the BA degree course.
At the end of this class, students will be provided with an advanced knowledge about the relationship between cinema and forms of writing, which will allow them to have a deeper understanding of the contemporary world.
Students will be able to discuss the methodological foundations of cinema and forms of writing autonomously.
Students are expected to acquire and relate the concepts that have been discussed in class.
The approach to the discipline, which focuses on the relationship between cinema and various forms of writing, will enable students to develop the learning skills that they need to access further education, at a Master’s and Ph.D. level, and to teach in secondary schools, where audio-visual material is often part of the learning environment.
