The new University Portal, developed in collaboration with the CINECA Interuniversity Consortium, was designed following an approach based on the broad sharing of objectives and the structural organization of the website with the University Governance.

Completely redesigned in terms of visual identity, with a more modern look aligned with current web design trends, the Portal is based on the latest version of the open-source Drupal platform. It is the result of a complex re-engineering process that involved the Web teams of the University and CINECA for nearly three years.

The new platform, fully integrated with innovative management systems related to teaching activities, registries, and institutional expertise, also aims to maximize accessibility and usability, in line with the most recent guidelines issued by AgID for Public Administration websites, as well as ensuring full compliance with European data protection regulations (GDPR – EU Regulation 679/2016).

The innovative features and technologies of the new University Portal contribute to raising quality standards and improving the overall user experience.

The management of the main website content is entrusted to the University Web Management Unit.
