The d’Annunzio University is preparing to write an important page of its future.

This will take place on Monday, 16 June, during an event open not only to the University Community and local authorities, but also to all citizens. On this occasion, the contract will be signed between the “Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara and MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects, who will design the new complex of the Chieti Campus.

The Rector, Liborio Stuppia, and the Director General, Paolo Esposito, will meet architect Mario Cucinella at the Rectorate for the signing of the contract and an initial exchange of ideas.

Following the press conference, at 3:00 p.m. in the Rectorate Auditorium, the project guidelines will be publicly presented and, immediately afterwards, an olive tree will be planted at the entrance to the area designated for the new complex of the Chieti University Campus.

The “d’Annunzio” University has chosen to accompany the signing of the contract with an event open to the public, so that everyone may learn directly from the key figures involved what the future holds for a University Campus such as the one in Chieti—an increasingly attractive and welcoming place, a reference point for advanced education and internationally recognised research, for thousands of students, and for the daily life of the local community.
