This morning, at a press conference, the 2025 edition of the European Researchers’ Night was presented. The event is organised by the “Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara.

The scientific programme of the initiative — which will take place on 26 September 2025 at the Chieti Campus and is centered on this year’s theme “Imagine” — was outlined by the Rector, Liborio Stuppia; by Elisabetta Dimauro, Coordinator of the organising committee and of the University’s institutional events; and by the Director General, Paolo Esposito. 

In the coming weeks, the programme of performances and shows that will animate the night of 26 September will also be presented.

The press conference also announced the lead-up events under the initiative “Waiting for the European Researchers’ Night”. On 24 September 2025, a double event will be held: Graduation Day 2025 and the Ceremony for the conferment of the Order of the Minerva upon two internationally renowned scientists, Professor Remo Ruffini and Professor Gigliola Staffilani.

Prior to that, on 19 September 2025, the presentation of the book Le notti del Mannaro (The Nights of the Werewolf), authored by the University’s Director General, Paolo Esposito, will take place.
