Services offered by the Research Division National projects: monitors and promotes research funding opportunities issued at the national level by Ministries, other public and private entities, Foundations and Associations); provides administrative support for the submission of project proposals; monitors data and information on funded projects; deals with the opportunities promoted by the Ministry of University and Research, MUR, by the National Research Programme, PNR, within the framework of the cohesion policy, of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, NRRP/PNRR, and the National Complementary Plan, PNCRelations with the Abruzzo Region: monitors and promotes funding opportunities issued by public and private entities based in the Abruzzo Region; provides administrative support for the submission of project proposals for indirect EU funds such as ESF+, European Social Fund and ERDF, European Regional and Development Fund; monitors the numbers of active projects. Oversees the opportunities promoted by the Abruzzo Region and the programmes within the framework of the cohesion policy.International and European projects: monitors and promotes European calls for research funding; provides administrative support for the submission of project proposals on European Commission Funds (mainly via Horizon Europe), on US grants (e.g. funded by the National Institutes of Health, NIH) and other non-European funds dedicated to funding research projects). Monitors funded projects through the platforms set up by the funding agencies. Offers consulting and administrative support to professors and researchers during the preparation and submission of project proposals. Collaborates with APRE, the national Agency for the Promotion of European Research, in providing information and training activities.Funded research projects are listed in the University web site transparent administration section/Research Projects and Facilities.Funded projects are carried out by the project's scientific director, using the scientific facilities at their Department and its affiliated interdepartmental centres, the scientific staff of their research group, and the technical and administrative staff employed at the aforementioned facilities. The University has 16 active Departments and 15 Centres.
