The CdL aims to train professionals with the scientific and practical knowledge necessary to responsibly carry out the functions specific to the profession according to the principles and methods of prevention, promotion and health education. The Health Assistant is the professional responsible for preventive, educational, recovery, and support interventions for individual and community health. It finds employment within NHS facilities, in public, private, and non-profit services, and in facilities where health study and research projects are carried out, primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention interventions, health promotion and education activities, and training activities in health education and the training of social workers, schools, and workers.
