The course at a glance

The Course of Studies in Orthoptics and Ophthalmology Assistance is divided into 3 years. Graduates in Orthoptics are responsible for organizing, planning, and quality of professional activities carried out as part of their duties. Graduates are adequately trained in basic disciplines, allowing them to better understand the most relevant elements underlying the pathological processes that focus their rehabilitation and/or therapeutic intervention in developmental, adult, and geriatric age. They must also be able to use at least one European Union language, in addition to Italian. He carries out his professional activity in public or private healthcare facilities, under a dependency or freelance regime.
