The CdS aims to train healthcare professionals who carry out, independently or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation interventions in the areas of motor skills, cortical and visceral functions resulting from pathological events of various etiologies, whether congenital or acquired.

Graduates in Physiotherapy are equipped with adequate preparation in the basic disciplines, such as to allow them both the best understanding of the most relevant elements that underlie the pathological processes on which their rehabilitation and/or therapeutic intervention is focused in developmental, adult and geriatric age, be the maximum collaboration with the doctor and with the other graduates of the class or other classes in the technical-health area.
