The CdS's knowledge concerns the basic principles of the disciplines of sociological, anthropological, ethical-philosophical, legal-socioeconomic, medical, psychological and historical fields, the methods of social research, the organization of Social Services, statistics applied to the social sciences, European economic policy, models, theories, techniques and tools of social intervention, the culture of European welfare, the principles and methods of the organization for the valorization of people in social enterprises. The training program is characterized by a highly professionalizing approach aimed at training modern social relations professionals capable of detecting and treating situations of distress and promoting social well-being by being able to design, plan, and implement integrated social interventions and services.
