Life Science Hub Project – Advanced Therapy (LSH-TA)

The LSH-TA Project is funded under the National Complementary Plan (NCP) to the NRRP - National Recovery and Resilience Plan, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Health within the investment “Innovative Health Ecosystem” (NCP-E.3).

The project is coordinated by the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital, acting as the Hub, and is structured as a national research innovation ecosystem aimed at strengthening collaborations among scientific, healthcare, and industrial institutions.

The G. d’Annunzio University Chieti-Pescara (Ud’A) participates in the project as a Tier 2 Spoke.

LSH-TA aims to enhance and develop infrastructures and expertise in the field of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), which include gene therapies, cell therapies, and tissue-engineered products, representing the frontier of personalised and precision medicine.
