The Innovation Ecosystem called “Innovation, Digitalisation and Sustainability for the Diffused Economy in Central Italy – VITALITY” is funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.5 “Creation and strengthening of innovation ecosystems for sustainability”, involving universities and public and private entities mainly from the regions of Abruzzo, Marche, and Umbria.

The G. d’Annunzio University Chieti-Pescara (Ud’A) Spoke “One-Health Telemedicine and Environment”, within the VITALITY project, aims at supporting biomedical research in the field of telemedicine and to further investigate the correlation between environmental factors and chronic diseases. This is pursued through innovative approaches based on personalised and precision medicine, inspired by the “One Health” paradigm, and applied to prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy.
