The Disciplinary Committee is entrusted with overseeing the preliminary phase of disciplinary proceedings involving professors and researchers. It is also responsible for issuing  binding opinions concerning both the disciplinary relevance of the facts and the appropriate sanctions to be imposed.

The Committee operates in accordance with the principle of peer review and ensures compliance with the principles of due process and adversarial proceedings. The initiation of disciplinary procedures falls under the authority of the Rector
