The Academic Senate is the University’s collegial governing body, responsible for advisory and policy-setting functions. Its members are appointed by Rectoral Decree. The Senate is convened by the Rector whenever deemed appropriate, and may also be convened upon written request by the majority of its members. Meetings are considered valid when an absolute majority of members is present.
