With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on 28 February 2015 by the Rectors and Directors General of the three universities of Abruzzo, the status of Abruzzo University Student has been formally established: students enrolled at any one of the three Abruzzo universities may access shared services also outside their home institution.

In particular, students are granted the possibility to use the library services of any Abruzzo university, both for on-site consultation and for borrowing materials.

They may also benefit from the opportunities offered by each University Language Centre, as well as access the IT laboratories and Wi-Fi networks of all participating institutions.

This initiative is part of a broader process of active cooperation among the three Abruzzo universities, aimed at optimising resource use—while respecting the specific identities of each territory—and enhancing competitiveness at both the national and international level.
