The “Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara has obtained the Umbrella Licence, the leading global public-performance film licence. This licence authorises the screening of cinematographic works—selected from a vast catalogue of more than eight hundred production companies—in all University spaces, without restrictions, provided that the screenings are free of charge and intended for students or University staff.

To access the service, a request must be sent to the following e-mail address:

The request must include:

• Title of the film;
• Language;
• Screening venue (Chieti Campus or Pescara Campus);
• Estimated number of participants;
• Screening location (specific room or space);
• Date and time.

For bookings of classrooms, auditoriums, or other indoor University spaces, the Film Forum Service will directly handle the reservation.

For screenings in external venues, prior authorisation issued by the Occupational Health and Safety Unit is required.
