University Psychological Counselling Service (SCPA)

Pro ben

The University for Students’ Health (Unist-Health) project, funded through the Pro-Ben programme of the Italian Ministry of University and Research, is implemented by a partnership of five universities: Padua (lead institution), Bologna, Chieti-Pescara, Catania, and Florence.

The initiative aims to promote the psychological well-being of students through activities focused on the prevention of psychological distress, support for academic and personal difficulties, development of emotional and relational skills that foster adaptation, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

SCPA

The University Psychological Counselling Service (SCPA), offered free of charge to students, staff, and eligible external users, is part of the activities of the Clinical Psychology Centre of the Gabriele d’Annunzio University (CPC-UdA). SCPA has a dual purpose:

  1. to provide support in cases of academic or personal difficulties;
  2. to promote adaptation processes and psychological well-being.

The Service offers a supportive and welcoming space for various forms of distress, including low academic performance, ineffective study methods, uncertainty regarding one’s academic path, behavioural or interpersonal difficulties, and challenges related to emotional regulation.

The Service does not issue medico-legal certifications.
